To Continue Or Not To Continue...That Is The Question

I have maintained this blog for a while, but have atrophied as of late. Life has been hectic these past several months with drama, death, and overall sadness. No matter how hard I fight to see a constant bright light of positivity and faith, the negative and somber seem to overcome. Thus is life. As Forrest Gump states, "Sh*t happens."

Between keeping up with Twitter and Facebook, a blog seems like another hassle of updates to maintain. I have reached a pinnacle in life where I've decided to give up blogging for a while, if not for good. I understand that the current bandwagon is social media and online blogging, but it just is too much for me. Unlike others, I am unable to maintain multiple social network sites, nor do I have the patience to do so.

Also, I am trying to get back to a simpler life. I am trying not to get so bogged down by technology, internet, and social media. That is much easier said than done, but life was so much more simple when sitting outside in a park, writing, drawing, painting, feeding ducks...not sitting behind a computer telling people about what you're currently doing or where you are going. Life is better when actually LIVED, not sitting around aspiring and wishing, but DOING and ACCOMPLISHING.

Hand writing to me, in a journal, is more therapeutic than sitting behind a screen typing. Eventually, I may come back and type my hand written entries, but doubtful. The pen and paper are my confident and soundboard, and it's much more personal and meaningful when hand written. Ernest Hemingway and T.S. Eliot never had computers to blog, so that's something I admire.

Thank you, to everyone, for reading what I have uploaded so far. If you'd like to continue reading more of my writings, email me and I'll be more than happy to share my work! Keep up the good fight and remember, please love one another and try to stay upbeat and positive in such a negative, harsh world. :)
